WASHINGTON (Talk Media News) – Hillary Clinton continues to hold a single digit lead over Donald Trump, according to a weekly NBC News/Survey Monkey poll released Tuesday.

Clinton comes in at 49 percent while Trump follows at 41 percent.

The poll shows a 2 percent increase from NBC News/Survey Monkey’s poll from last week, wherein Clinton lead 48 to 42 percent.

With the third-party candidates entered into the mix, Clinton continues to lead.

Libertarian candidate Gary Johnson gets 9 percent, Green party candidate Jill Stein receives 5 percent, Trump comes in at 36 percent and Clinton leads with 42 percent.

The poll also found a slight increase among those who believe Clinton will win in November, with 57 percent saying that she’ll likely come out on top as opposed to 36 percent who believe Trump will win.

Last week, 56 percent said that they believe Clinton will be the next president while 36 percent said Trump.

The poll was conducted among 6,556 respondents between June 20 and June 26. The margin of error is plus/minus 1.8 percentage points.
