WASHINGTON– Vice President Mike Pence is dismissing a report that he could run for President in 2020 if Trump does not, calling it “disgraceful and offensive.”

On Sunday, the New York Times reported that there are signs Pence could mount his own White House bid if Trump does not, including a packed schedule of political events, a Chief of Staff with deep campaign experience and a growing relationship with the GOP donor base.

In a statement Sunday, Pence said that both he and his team are committed to fulfilling the President’s agenda and seeing Trump re-elected.
