WASHINGTON – Just days after a mistrial was declared in his sex assault trial, Bill Cosby is planning a motivational speaking tour to tell young athletes and married men how to avoid being accused of sex crimes.

Cosby’s spokesperson, Andrew Wyatt, told Deadline on Thursday: “We have received hundreds of calls from civic organizations and churches who want to hear Mr. Cosby speak at town halls about the issue of criminal justice, how the deal he was given was taken away and the Willie Horton-style ad that got the current D.A. in office and after Mr. Cosby.”

The previous day, Wyatt appeared on “Good Day Alabama” in Birmingham and revealed the comedian’s plans for tour.

“Mr. Cosby wants to get back to work,” Wyatt said. “We’re now planning town halls and we’re going to be coming to this city [Birmingham] sometime in July … to talk to young people, because this is bigger than Bill Cosby.”

Cosby, who turns 80 next month, is charged with drugging and sexually assaulting former Temple University basketball manager Andrea Constand in 2004 at his home near Philadelphia.

A mistrial was declared in the case on Saturday after jurors told Judge Steven O’Neiil that they were “hopelessly deadlocked.”

The prosecutor in Montgomery County, Penn., Kevin Steele, has vowed to retry Cosby and hopes to do so by October.

“This issue can affect any young person, especially young athletes of today, and they need to know what they’re facing when they’re hanging out and partying, when they’re doing certain things that they shouldn’t be doing. And it also affects married men,” Wyatt said on “Good Day Alabama,” with a laugh.

Show host Janice Rogers quipped, “Is it kind of a ‘Do as I say, not as I do’ situation?”

The prosecutor’s office had no response about the announcement of the planned tour.

Lawyer Gloria Allred, who represents several of the more than 60 women who have accused Cosby of drugging and sexually assaulting them, scoffed at his plans.

“Mr. Cosby’s so-called workshops appear to be a transparent and slick effort to attempt to influence the jury pool from which jurors will be selected for his second criminal trial,” Allred said on Thursday. “Mr. Cosby should understand, however, that this is not about optics.”

Other stops on the tour could include Chicago and Detroit, Wyatt said.

An anonymous juror in the trial told ABC on Wednesday that 10 of the 12 jurors wanted to convict the comedian but two members of the panel refused and wanted to acquit him.

Cosby sent two tweets on Wednesday thanking the “Good Morning Alabama” for having his spokespeople on the show.

Cosby’s tweets were the first statements he had made since the mistrial. His wife, Camille Cosby, released a statement on Saturday slamming the prosecutor, judge and the defense attorneys.

    1. MOST IMPORTANT A tour can be a good tool for Cosby providing his spokesperson shares most of the communication since this is a case or a case that requires A CHANGE OF VENUE/ REPLACE THE JUDGE BECAUSE IT APPEARS HE demonstrates double standards and designs his courtroom for plaintiff ‘s requests to simply be accepted much more so than defendants. Folks want to know of the pressure under a judge who might be bias of his personal vendetta also known as pre judgmental. Folks can be aware what can be done and be aware of CHANGE OF VENUES. tHIS WOULD IMPLY VENUE OF LOCATION. Who wants to be of a majority of people who are of one skin complexion. New York City, Baltimore, etc. is it true that defendants can also participate selecting jurors. Can Cosby briefly explain extortion from gals is not a joke especially if an affair or especially when you can’t please women who are greedy, an unknown sex fetish of black mail, however in jokes could be a good style unless the court attempts to seek more fault from freedom of speech. Attn to Andrew Wyatts:
I hope u comprehend the vital importance to replace Montgomery judge to eliminate further double standards for the desperate plaintiff folks. The Realistic Approach can simply see no merits because of the following: malicious prosecution of conflict of interest= plaintiff’s family did the coerce report of family ties officials!!!! 2) coerce Cosby to their story what they want to accept only, was previous toss out in Penna. then the Johnny come lately gal gives it to Canada / family ties. = EXTORTION & FURTHER GREED. I hope Cosby never volunteers money to these kind of sneaky gals or they will keep joining the stage band wagon with old lies.
they did defamation on Cosby, now the gals in Calif. want money when he had the right to defend himself too and he use very little explanation. 3) the plaintiff story when originally alleged happen is very fabricated when a gal arrives to you for a visit and could had been pre medicated, sex fetish, observes her beverage at her request and a willing participant accepting blue herbs in her hand. I often warn people who smile non stop in your face, inquisitive questions, be careful….. * * * Are you and team aware of possible 3 different excuses why she went to Cosby house ??? 1st we heard of she had a cold, (then go to a pharmacy) then
she could NOT sleep, recently she had to talk business with him. I wonder out of 3 different statements was possible true..???? Please use visual aids for **Jurors as we all NOTICE jurors want papers or items they can visualize = self explanatory and easy to agree collectively!
a large card defining coerce, or pattern of greed accepting gifts then demands or blackmail..
      3) loose geese or loose chicks are a problem no matter where you go in society. we know they attract to RIcH and fame men for hidden motives or demands. However when a gal REpeatly keeps visits over and over with a so call rappist = nothing was of wrongul nature = fabrication known as extortion!!!! this is a crime of their own plot they got caught in especially when you keep calling him and NOT officals?? people enjoy money, gifts. school paid it never happen
Cosby needs over several ladies to speak on his behalf in court how they never had a bad experience and was helpful only, why to defuse those fabricators. some of these chicks were in rehab. I may email another site later 1) visual aids, 2) ladies to speak onhis behalf in court. how many hospitals did plaintiff drive pass when driving from Cosby’s home it never Happen blackmail
