WASHINGTON— Adult movie actress Stormy Daniels was arrested after performing in a Columbus, Ohio strip club early Thursday morning for “allegedly allowing a customer to touch her while on stage in a non-sexual manner,” according to her attorney, Michael Avenatti.

In a series of tweets, Avenatti claimed that the arrest was a politically motivated set-up.

An incident report obtained by the Associated Press counters Avenatti’s claim that the arrest was due to non-sexual touching.

According to the report, Daniels, whose legal name is Stephanie Clifford, was seen “forcing the faces of the patrons into her chest and using her bare breasts to smack the patrons.”

The report states that officers also saw Daniels touch two female patrons and ultimately fondled the breasts and buttock of a female officer.

The arresting offense was listed as “Illegal Sexual Oriented Activity.”

Daniels has been at the center of a scandal facing President Donald Trump.

After alleging a 2006 affair with Trump, Daniels received a $130,000 payment shortly before the election from then-Trump attorney Michael Cohen in exchange for her silence.

Cohen acknowledged the payment but denied that an affair took place, something that the president has echoed.

After Cohen went public with the payment, Daniels began to publicly discuss her alleged relationship with Trump, including a high-profile interview on 60 Minutes.

Daniels performance Wednesday was part of a national strip club tour dubbed, “Make America Horny Again.”
