THE WHITE HOUSE – President Donald Trump reacts to Fox News’ The Morning Call in Allentown, Pa. with Sen. Bernie Sanders’ (I-Vt.), hosted by Bret Baier after the audience burst into cheers when Baier asks the audience, “How many are willing to transition to what the senator says, a government-run system?” – or Medicare for All.

Trump tweets his ire this morning:

Later, Baier replied to Trump with a tweet saying:

Although Trump was upset with this particular Fox News program, he continues to have well-documented close ties to the network, so much so that in March, the Democratic National Committee chairman, Tom Perez, banned Fox News from Democratic party primary debates.

Several Democratic primary candidates, including Sens. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-N.Y.), Amy Klobuchar (D-Minn.) and South Bend, Ind., Mayor Pete Buttigieg, have bypassed Perez’s ban by going on Fox News for interviews.

The president’s reference to Donna Brazile comes after Fox News signed her on as a commentator. Brazile previously worked for CNN while serving as interim DNC chair. The network let her go after she used her CNN position to glean and share debate questions with 2016 Democratic presidential contender Hillary Clinton.
