WASHINGTON– President Donald Trump on Thursday called for Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.), the chair of the House Intelligence Committee, to resign in the wake of new details from Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s probe into the Trump campaign’s ties with Russia.
Congressman Adam Schiff, who spent two years knowingly and unlawfully lying and leaking, should be forced to resign from Congress!

Schiff has been a longtime critic of Trump and has maintained that there was likely some form of collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia.
According to a summary of Mueller’s report Barr provided to Congress on Sunday, Mueller’s team found no evidence of conspiracy between anybody on the Trump campaign and Russia.
The special counsel did not make a determination on whether the president obstructed justice, leaving that decision to the Justice Department.
Barr told lawmakers that after consulting with Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, there was not enough evidence to open proceedings.
Democrats have called on the Justice Department to release the report in its entirety, an action that Trump has previously endorsed, but is ultimately up to Barr.
In the wake of Barr’s summary, Trump and others within his orbit have taken a victory lap, taking numerous swipes at the media and lawmakers expected the report would yield evidence of wrongdoing.
While Schiff has not directly responded to Trump’s tweet, he opened a hearing Thursday morning with the House Intelligence Committee on Russian interference in the 2016 election by emphasizing that lawmakers have not yet seen the full Mueller report.
