President Donald Trump's Twitter page on Friday is full of tweets bashing the report of Special Counsel Robert S. Mueller III..

THE WHITE HOUSE – President Donald Trump continued his barrage of tweets proclaiming victory the day after the release of the partially redacted Mueller report.

In a Friday morning tweet, the president derided the culmination of Special Counsel Robert S. Mueller III’s 22-month investigation of possible collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia for the 2016 presidential election as the “Crazy Mueller Report, in itself written by 18 Angry Democrat Trump Haters, which are fabricated & totally untrue.”

Of McGahn, the special counsel wrote:

“The President also asked McGahn in the meeting why he had told Special Counsel’s Office investigators that the President had told him to have the Special Counsel removed. McGahn responded that he had to and that his conversations with the President were not protected by attorney-client privilege. The President then asked, ‘What-about these notes? Why do you take notes? Lawyers don’t take notes. I never had a lawyer who took notes.’ McGahn responded that he keeps notes because he is a ‘real lawyer’ and explained that notes create a record and are not a bad thing. The President said, ‘I’ve had a lot of great lawyers, like Roy Cohn. He did not take notes.‘ ”

Continuing his ire at the investigation, Trump retweeted conservative talk-show host Tucker Carlson’s remarks slamming the report:

To be sure, the Mueller investigation resulted in dozens of indictments of Russians, and Trump associates, including former campaign chairman Paul Manafort, Manafort associate Rick Gates and policy adviser George Papadopoulos.

And the 448-page report says on page one, “The Russian government interfered in the 2016 presidential election in sweeping and systematic fashion.”

On obstruction, Mueller wrote, “If we had confidence after a thorough investigation of the facts that the President clearly did not commit obstruction of justice, we would so state. Based on the facts and the applicable legal standards, however, we are unable to reach that judgment.”

Mueller did not say no obstruction, yet Trump on Thursday pinned on his Twitter feed a photo of himself with a Game of Thrones theme saying, “NO COLLUSION. NO OBSTRUCTION. FOR THE HATERS AND THE RADICAL LEFT DEMOCRAT HATERS — GAME OVER.”

The president ignored shouted questions from reporters as he departed the White House hand-in-hand with First Lady Melania Trump late Thursday afternoon en route to Florida to spend Easter weekend at their Mar-a-Lago estate. Upon arriving at the West Palm Beach International Airport, where they met up with his daughter Tiffany and their son Barron, the first couple was greeted by a crowd of enthusiastic supporters.

Other supporters lined the streets where the presidential motorcade passed, holding signs and waving flags. But many detractors displayed signs too, including some urging the president to “RESIGN” and “GET OUT.”

After his Friday morning tweets, the president played golf with conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh and other friends at Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach.

In the early evening the president returned to Twitter, retweeting favorable news coverage about the Mueller report. He also bashed his frequent media targets, calling the Washington Post and the New York Times “two of the most dishonest media outlets around. Truly, the Enemy of the People!”
